Luky's Back From Sabbatical

Luky walked into the office yesterday and said he had some dictation. I told him to put it on the desk and I would jump on it ASAP (I have to act like it's the most important thing on my to-do list or he'll log-on and start trying to type it in himself - and that always turns into a mess because no matter how brilliant his mind is, he still has those huge, furry, Malamute paws, and we have yet to find a computer with the accessibility and ergonometric design elements to make that work).

Well, there was a loud boom as one of our flimsy sorting tables was crushed under the weight.

Great! So this is what he's been working on . . .

Upon a cursory read through it appears that most of the themes are not new - it's all about meaning and Meaning (Luky capitalizes "Meaning" when he intends to refer to the Meaning Of Life as opposed to the meaning of things like words and symbols).

I note that he did make some entry around Valentines Day which would have made for a timely message to friends and family, but apparently he was just too wrapped up in his research to stop and blog about smelling roses.

He does seem to be getting quite a bit more political - either that or he is increasingly willing to draw very specific philosophical conclusions about the current state of affairs, including the nation and its leadership, based on the analysis he performs on other questions.

Anyway, it's going to take some time to get it all posted, but I wanted to at least warn that it was coming.
